Sarah Carpenter: Dance & Singing Tutor
Sarah always showed a great interest in the performing arts. Upon leaving school she studied
dance at Sallynoggin College of further education and then went on to complete a diploma in
musical theatre performance from the London College of music while attending Westside stage
school. During this time she was invited to attend a week's training on scholarship at the North
London dance studios. She has performed in theatres such as the Gaiety, the Olympia and Cork
Opera house and performed in the Irish premiere of "Whiskey in the Jar".
In Summer 2013 she completed a successful summer season as leading vocalist in "Wilde Nights"
on the Oscar Wilde with the Irish Ferries. She was delighted to be a part of the cast of The Promise
the musical which premiered in September 2013 in the Helix. She is currently teaching in various
venues in Dublin and choreographed three Christmas pantos with Dundalk Musical Society. Sarah
has recently finished performing in The Palmerstown Hotel's Christmas Cabaret Show where she
performed as dancer / vocalist. She is also studying to complete her ABRSM singing exams. Last
Summer saw Sarah on the big screen as a featured dancer in Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie.
Elaine Gallagher: Singing & Drama Tutor
Elaine trained with Bull Alley Theatre Training Company from 2002 - 2006 graduating with an
ATCL from Trinity Guildhall, London. Credits include playing 'Mother Courage' in Mother
Courage at Smock Alley, 'Bride' in Blood Wedding at The Project Arts Theatre, various parts in
Hamlet at Tallaght Theatre, 'Jane' in I Have Five Daughers at The Project Arts Theatre.
Elaine has also starred in 'West Side Story', 'Chess', 'City Of Angels' at the Draiocht Theatre
and the Dublin premiere of 'Ragtime The Musical' at The O Reilly Theatre.
Elaine works extensively across Dublin as a actress, singer, drama teacher and vocal coach
working in theatre / stage schools, and primary schools and facilitates workshops for many
different youth clubs / societies.
Last Summer 2015 saw Rob play Aiden in the one man play '69 shades of gay' a world premiere which VIP magazine said 'the show that
took Dublin by storm'.
His TV / film credits include featured dancer in 'Mrs Browns Boys D'Movie', 'Nadia Goes To Hollywood' (TV3), / 'Nadia chasing the
dream' (TV3) and the televised production of 'Snow White', Cheerios Panto, 2012 (TV3).
Rob has previously worked on many projects including producer of the children's entertainment for Irish Ferries 'Oscar Wilde' cruise ferry
(2008/2009), he was director of the musical theatre classes at the Independent Theatre Workshop' from 2011-2014, he has directed /
choreographed many school productions including shows for St Josephs CBS Fairview, CBC Monkstown, Notre Dame Dundrum and St
Patricks National School in Donebate. He has written & directed panto at the Mill Theatre Dundrum for Steptacular Performing Arts for
the past three years. Rob directed the Dundalk Musical Society panto in 2011, 2012 & 2013 aswell as their variety show Broadway &
Beyond. In 2011 Rob choreographed 'The Snowman' at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. He directs the annual summer camp at the
Civic Theatre which runs for three weeks every Summer. Rob also facilities many drama / dance workshops for musical societies and
stage schools across the country. Throughout the year Rob acts as master of ceremonies for many events. For over 10 years Rob was
resident choreographer and director for St Marys Youth Club credits include Minitops overall winning show 2008, 2010 & 2012.
Rob is the founder and director of Dramatic Action and it is his pride and joy.
Emma Kane: School

dancer / soloist in their award
winning variety shows. She also
trained with Dramatic Action Stage
School, Emma loves assistant
classes at Dramatic Action
especially approaching showtime.
Yasmina Aniss: Dance Tutor
Yasmina graduated from the College of Dance in 2009, under the supervision of Joanna Banks
after completing a two year full time course and acquired a National Diploma in Dance and
Musical Theatre. She has recently graduated from Maynooth University with an honours
bachelor degree in Business and Management.
Yasmina found her love of performing arts at the age of three training in London at the McAlpine
School of Dance studying RAD (Ballet) and ISTD (Jazz and Tap) syllabus. She also became an
associate of the prestigious English National Ballet in their youth dance program and gained the
opportunity to dance in the Royal Albert Hall.
After re-locating to Ireland, Yasmina took up commercial dance with Dance Fusion and privately
began acquiring her teacher's diploma studying Russian Ballet for NATD. In 2007, she began
her training with the College of Dance, Monkstown.
Deirdre May: School Administrator
Deirdre has been helping with
administration in our Finglas school
since we opened our doors in
September 2013, she is a very valued
member of our dramatic action team
and helps with organising our end of
year showcase & costume's. Deirdre
has oodles of experience having
worked on many projects in her local
national school St Bridget's in
Kilester.

Dance Credits to date include performing in one of only three dancing roles for a residency production of 'Samson and Delilah' for
the Anna Livia Opera Company (Gaiety theatre), 'Swan Lake-Youth' (Royal Albert Hall), All Ireland Hip Hop Championships (Helix),
'Chicago' (Draiocht), annual College of Dance productions (O Reilly theatre). TV credits to date include work for the BBC, BBC3,
Nationwide and RTE.
Yasmina has also been choreographing and teaching for the past six years, with experience in teaching workshops and running
Educational Dance programs in primary and secondary schools in County Meath and choreographing for Maynooth University.
Current teaching credits include directing and choreographing for Independent Theatre Workshop School, Dundrum Hip Hop
School and Wesley Secondary School.

Rob received his professional training with Bull Alley Theatre Training Company in their four year course in
Performing Arts, graduating with an A.T.C.L from Trinity Guildhall, London.
Rob has been working as a professional actor now over 10 years, some credits include playing Belize in
the Irish Premiere of 'Angels In America' (Civic Theatre, Dublin), Dame Celia Daw in 'Jack & The
Beanstalk' (Olympia Theatre - Spotlight Productions), 'Moth' in 'Love Labours Lost' by William
Shakespeare and The Wicked Witch of The West in 'The Wizard Of Oz' (Helix Theatre - Séan Gilligan
Productions). He has also performed in many variety shows & musicals such as 'Follies', 'Steel Pier' and
'Parade' to name but a few, he is best known as 'D BUFFY' in the annual Cheerios Panto at the Tivoli
Theatre. He has starred as 'Buffy' in 'Snow White', 'Jack and The Beanstalk' , 'Cinderella' , 'Beauty And The
Beast' and most recently 'Aladdin' and during the pantomime season Rob is regularly featured on popular
Irish TV and radio shows in his role as Buffy. This pantomime season the Irish Times said Rob is the
'Queen of the panto dames'.
Alexandra O Driscoll: Dance Tutor
Alexandra has been dancing from a very young age she trained under Rob Murphy firstly in St
Mary's Youth Club and later with Dramatic Action Stage School in total nine years. She began her
professional dance training with Inchicore College where she obtained advance qualifications in
ISTD modern theatre dance examinations, intermediate qualifications in RAD Ballet, along with
these she also obtained a diploma in dance instruction (DDI). Alexandra recently completed her full
time dance training with Morea Performing Arts College in the UK under the guidance of Kate
Morea one of the creators of ISTD.
Alexandra's training also includes Jazz, lyrical, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Urban & African.
Whilst training in the UK she was also lucky enough to take regular workshops with leading West
End performers.
